Flying Squirrel Coffee Company

Very cute and artistic place. Original artwork on turquoise and brown painted brick walls. Historical aesthetics. They have a large list of signature drinks and specials for the seasons. I got the Xmas special called “sweater weather” (eggnog, amaretto, cinnamon latte) and they served it in a Grinch mug. There are tables and couches for seating with speedy free wifi. Parking lot behind the store with a back door entrance. Will definitely be returning!

Love this place! The staff is always super kind and friendly, and service is quick, I don’t have to wait too long for my order. The coffee always tastes amazing. Don’t skip their monthly specials, they’re creative and definitely worth trying, you definitely will want to come back

Really nice experience! I learned that the husband was a pilot and his wife was so active that her nickname was squirrel- hence the name: Flying Squirrel! Beautiful place!

Flying Squirrel Coffee Company is a downtown treat that I highly recommend. The coffee is excellent, with beans sourced from a local Arlington roaster, and they offer a rotating seasonal menu of specialty drinks each month that keeps things interesting. The interior is on the smaller side, but I’ve never felt cramped, even when it’s busy. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. They offer both hot and iced options year-round, which is especially appreciated with unpredictable Texas weather, particularly in the fall and winter. They also provide a few games and books to help keep kids entertained and to encourage guests to relax and enjoy their time. If you’re hungry, there’s a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches available. These items are prepared and packaged off-site, so there isn’t a traditional food menu, but they’re happy to warm them for you and serve them on a plate with utensils. This is a must-stop spot for a great pick-me-up when I’m downtown in Mansfield.

My overall experience with the Flying Squirrel Coffee shop is always great. One thing for improvement is that there needs to be consistency with the preparation of the lattes. Depending on who makes them, it is more hit than miss as it relates to taste. This would be a huge win for customers who enjoy a great cup of coffee at the shop.

One of my favorite coffee shops and a Saturday treat for me. I usually run Saturday mornings and it’s become my little treat and tradition to stop for a coffee after my runs. The specials are always my favorite to try since they are so creative and the coffee is always amazing and served up by the friendliest baristas. Definitely recommend you stop by if you’re wanting a yummy coffee and to support a small business!

My cinnamon roll was supposed to be cold and my wife’s warmed up. They were both a little above room temperature. Otherwise everything was great and the price was surprisingly very good when compared to other shops.

First time visiting. The menu had a large selection of coffee flavors, all sounded heavenly. I ended up with a Gingerbread and caramel flavor, it was so good. You don't typically find Gingerbread flavored coffee anywhere. This is one of my favorite flavors and I was so excited to see that the carried a few different Gingerbread options. I will likely visit again and try some other flavors. The cashier also gave some good recommendations that I look forward to trying on my next visit.
